CHAPTER 12
Designing Cut And Print T-Shirts Using Cricut
THIS SEEMS TO BE ONE of Cricut's hardest-to-understand characteristics. In this chapter, I want to demonstrate how simple Print Then Cut is and demystify the whole process.
There's a lot to do with this project function, like laptop, stickers, wall decals, and keyboard overlays, decorations, and even temporary tattoos.
BESIDES A T-SHIRT, all that is required for this project is a way to press your decal, printable iron-on transfer medium, an inkjet printer, like an EasyPress or iron, and a decal you create with the Cricut Design Space function Print Then Cut.
Supplies Printable iron-on transfer medium Inkjet printer EasyPress, heat press, or iron Parchment paper or Teflon sheet (one should be in your transfer package). A way to cut your decal (I used the fantastic Cricut).

Once on your canvas, you'll need to resize to suit your shirt. You need to maintain the Print and Cut picture lower than 6.75" high and 9.25" long. You can alter the image size by clicking on it and typing in the W and H boxes at the upper part of the screen.
That looks fantastic. Now there are a few things to crosscheck before we can. First, its one layer flattened. View the layers panel on the right hand side. We can see this unicorn consists of several layers. To solve this, pick all layers and press Flatten at the bottom of the panel.
